Internet Browser
If you’ve been reading our blog over the past few months or have even installed the application itself, then you may know about the internet browser which is built into it. However, one thing we haven’t done is made a full article about it, including the features it provides and how it compares to your usual standard internet browser. We’ll also talk about the tool at points too so keep reading on if you want to know more about this excellent feature and why you may choose to use it on a regular basis.
If you haven’t yet seen it, the best thing to do is install our program and then open the tool – it’s the first thing you’ll see on your screen. It’s also the first tab in the navigation menu, called “Internet”. Whenever you open the software, you’ll be able to go straight into it if you want to by entering the web address into the box you see, otherwise you can go into the Search or Transfer tabs to start downloading files if this is what you’d rather do instead. Now that you know where this feature actually is, we should probably talk about its usage.
You can see from the screenshot how the internet browser looks. It’s surprisingly small and portable, it doesn’t include any bloated toolbars or anything you don’t want such as pointless sidebars and features, it simply gives you the ability to browse websites with a very basic form. This should be what most users are looking for, all you want is a quick way of browsing the web without having to do anything complicated. Our application tries its best to accommodate for all users and our users have found that this browser works pretty well. So what features are actually included in it?
There are several different buttons you’ll find at the top of the browser. In the first part, there are very simple forward and back buttons. If you navigate between webpages a lot, sometimes you may want to go back to a page you’ve visited before so you’d press the back button a few times to get to what you were looking for. You could the press the forward button to return back to where you were before, it’s just a handy little extra that you may use at points. There’s obviously a large box to the side of this which is where you need to enter the URL of the webpage you want to visit next, simply press enter on your keyboard when you’ve done this and you’re ready to go.
On the other side of this button, there’s 2 more options in the internet browser that you can use. Let’s talk about these. If you’ve accidentally clicked a link and you don’t want the page to carry on loading (maybe if you want to save as much bandwidth as possible or just don’t like the content) you can press the stop button which will immediately stop the loading of the page, all of the content loaded so far will still be shown. If you think the page’s content might have changed, it also has a refresh button which will simply reload the same URL again for you which is a quicker way of getting things done.
Although by default it appears as a very small window which could make it difficult to browse the web in, you’ll be glad to know that it’s very easy to increase the size of it – you have 2 ways of achieving this. First of all, you could press the maximize button which is the 2nd button in the toolbar at the top which will make it appear in full screen. This makes it far easier to look at webpages and we highly recommend you do this. Otherwise, if you’d like to increase the size but NOT to full screen, you can put your cursor in the bottom right hand corner and drag it until the window is at a size you’re happy with.
So, how does this compare with your normal browser exactly? Well as you might expect, the average browser is far superior to the internet browser in our software in terms of functionality. This was developed as a quick and easy way of browsing the web. If you’re looking for a wide range of features in your browser, you’re probably better off sticking to Google Chrome or Firefox, but if you’re looking for a way to go to websites quickly and have it built into your favourite software and don’t need the extras other browsers have, you’ve come to the right place. You should probably consider using the browser regularly if you are this type of person.

You should know a bit more about how it compares to other tools too, which should give you enough knowledge to make an informed decision and how you want to browse the web. We highly recommend that you install Ares and give it a try for yourself so that you’re sure about your decision though, some people love it and use it everyday whereas others simply forget that it is there.
