The Guide to Downloading

When it comes to using P2P networks, there seems to be two types of people – the people who are experienced and know what they should be looking for and what they need to do and those that are fairly new to this game and thus aren’t aware of some of the tricks that you may come across through the network. We’re going to be focussing on the second group of people in this article, we’re going to give you a full guide of how you can download a file using the Ares P2P network and give you some other tips on how you can do it in the most efficient manor without putting your computer at risk.

One of the most obvious things that you need to start with is the actual Ares free download. You won’t be able to use the network without installing the software onto your computer. You don’t need to look far to find this, though, as you’ll see a quick download available on this website. Once you’ve followed the installation process, you can proceed to actually using the software. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure how to do this, our Download page will give you a full guide on how you can do it. For now, let’s open the P2P network and get started.

Once it is running on your system, you should be presented with the very simple menu and basic navigation that is included in the software. However, before we get started, another obvious thing that you need to do is to think of a file that you really want on your system. The utility supports many different formats – whether that be music, movies, software or video games, it shouldn’t be too tricky to think of something that you really want. Once you’ve thought of something that you’ll be able to download (depending on bandwidth caps set by your ISP, remember not to use the network too much to avoid getting overcharged), we can move onto the next step.

Now that you know what you want on your computer, it’s time to go and find it in the network! Simply click on the “Search” button in the navigation menu and you’ll be presented with a few options which will narrow your search down. All you need to do is enter the title of what you’re looking for and then select which type of file it’s likely to be, there really is nothing else to it. Once you’ve entered these details, you’re going to need to wait briefly for the whole network to be searched and for the matching results to be displayed on your screen. The biggest benefit of our network is that it’s so easy to use.

Once the search has been completed, you should have been presented with a list of results matching what you entered. If this isn’t the case, then you might want to broaden your search a bit until you can find what you’re looking for, it might take a bit of trial and error if the file you’re looking for isn’t really popular. If you do have results though, you can browse the list of them until you find the one you’re looking for. Our first piece of advice is to try and download from near the top of the results as these tend to download at quicker speeds and when you’re using our Ares Galaxy software, this is probably what you’re looking for.

So you’ve looked through the results returned to you and you’ve found one that you wish to download to your system. What do you do now, you might be wondering? Well the process just continues to get easier and easier because the only thing that you need to do is to double click the file. You’ll see the icon next to the file change, this is because the file is then starting to be downloaded to your system. You can download as many files at a time as you want so you can continue to search and download multiple if you prefer. It’s a good idea to monitor the transfer too, which is what we’re going to talk about now.

If you go into the “Transfer” tab, this is where you’ll be able to see all of the files that are currently in progress or have finished. It’s very simple to look at – it just shows the name of the file, the type of file and then gives you a progress bar to allow you to see how much our Ares download has actually done. Please be patient when it comes to using it, there are many different factors which will influence your download speed and most of them are external from the P2P network itself. The tool will automatically pick out the best sources to download your file from to increase the speed, all you need to do is to sit back and wait.

While your file is downloading, feel free to test out what you’re doing to make sure it’s genuine. You can do this by right-clicking the result in the Transfer tab and then selecting “Play/Preview”. You’ll then be taken to the in-built media player which will demo everything that has been downloaded so far. If everything seems fine, you can just leave it until the process has been completed and when it has, you’re free to do whatever you like with the file without worrying about anything else. We recommend that you share what you’ve downloaded with the community so that everyone else can download it quickly just like you did, it’s all about giving and sharing in a P2P network.

In conclusion, you should now have a much better idea of how to download files using our tool. It’s not nearly as complex as some people think, you can have the file you’re looking for in just minutes. Although we don’t recommend or endorse illegal downloading, this is a good way of testing out things before you decide to make the purchase of them and we do suggest that you do this to support the authors to allow them to continue creating more and more content that you love. We’ve got tons more tips to give you on our website so we recommend that you come back frequently to read the articles that we write and if you aren’t currently a user of the network, you can use what we’ve provided which you’ll see on the homepage of our site. Happy downloading guys!
