Whitney Houston Found Dead
The news has been spreading around the world today and we’d just thought we’d tell you about the sad events that have occurred recently. On February 11th 2012, Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room on the 4th floor of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverley Hills, California. Her publicist was reported to have found her at the time and at around 3:55pm paramedics confirmed that she had indeed passed away.
At the time of death the cause was still unknown but it is expected for this to be confirmed within the next few weeks as more research is done. She was in California for the Grammy Awards pre-party where she was due to play a performance the day after her passing. Instead, two well-known actors will be doing a tribute to her and her life to mark the sad occasion. The local police department have said that there are no signs of criminal intent at the time and it appears that there was nobody else involved, although she had been removed from a bathtub when paramedics arrived at the scene.
CPR went on for around 20 minutes by paramedics who tried to revive Whitney Houston but it had no effect, sadly there was nothing else they could do. Since the events, many celebrities have come out and shared words about their experiences with Houston and how she was in her life and the great talent that we all knew and loved. Her family are trying to stay private during this time to make sure they can grieve properly during this sad time.
One thing that is well known around the world is the problems that Whitney has faced over her life. The fame seemed to get into her head, turning her from a talented young girl at the start of her career to someone who had struggled with drug and drink related problems and didn’t leave her house often. In recent photos of her, it is very clear that she wasn’t herself and did look very ill although no medical conditions have been given to the press. It is very sad to see events like this happen.
