Uploading
Finding Files - Selecting the files you wish to upload back to the network isn't quite as simple as people might think. With the average hard drive now containing thousands of different files all of which having different file sizes and file formats, even knowing what you have stored on it is something a lot of people aren't sure of. Finding your own files is difficult enough, but then you have to sort out which ones are suitable for the network and which ones aren't, which could make things rather challenging for some. However, it's something that you really should be doing if you're a regular downloader of either the P2P network or BitTorrent, as they say "sharing is caring" and without it, nobody would be able to enjoy what file sharing has to offer.
Uploading Methods - There are multiple different methods for uploading files back into the network, something that a lot of people aren't aware of. Unfortunately it's true that most people don't even bother sharing at all, they don't bother to find out how it's done and sadly that's something that doesn't benefit anyone. You'll be glad to know that the uploading process has been designed to be as easy as possible, all you need to do is follow one of the methods built into the application and then anyone with the client installed will be able to gain access to whatever you decide to share. You can either add it to the P2P network for all other Ares users or you can create a .torrent file which will then be available to all other BitTorrent clients as well.
Uploading Tips - Uploading also isn't as simple as it may seem. Of course, it is easy just to stick a few files into the network and to see what might happen but if you follow some of the tips we have to offer then you'll probably get a much better response from other users. By making your data more suitable and more easily accessible, it will help your bandwidth as well as theirs as no wastage will be encountered at either side. One of the biggest problems that people face when downloading is finding incorrectly labelled files that aren't actually what they're looking for, so by providing accurate information you're able to stop this from happening and make sure everyone who downloads the data you upload actually knows what it is and genuinely wants the content.
