As well as the background turning white, EuroOffice EcoPrint will also make all text be printed in black. If you have background objects, you’ll find that these are removed completely. This is, as we’ve mentioned previously, because you don’t need them when you’re printing out. The chances are your backgrounds may just be patterns if this affects you which can add a lot of ink to the document without justification. Very large pictures in slides will also be removed, ones that are above 50% of the size of the slide. The majority of what you want to show to users will indeed be in text form so this isn’t something you should worry about either.
